Log and edit perceived effort

Dan Kelly 5 years ago updated by Carl Juneau, PhD 5 years ago 1

User can see their history in the Workouts, including weight, reps and sets. The perceived effort is not shown, and is not editable. Perceived effort can't be changed if the user selects the wrong effort by mistake, or if an exercise is repeated later in a workout (say the first attempt failed due to fatigue or inappropriate exercise order).

Thank you for your suggestion Dan. You can change your perceived effort, but I agree it could be easier. Here's how:

When you work out, the app will ask you how hard your set was after your first work set

Delete any work sets you've done after the first to get the rating question again

Enter your new (correct) rating

Save your extra work sets again

Finish your exercise

If you've already finished and saved the exercise, delete it from your logs (history page) and enter it again with the correct information. I realise that's all a bit cumbersome so I look forward to simplifying the process when this suggestion becomes top voted.

Best,

Carl
