Targeted Functional/Specialty Development
I'd like a designed functional workout section that targets specific activities (I.e. Baseball, Football (American), Soccer, Military Service, Swimming, and so-on…). A good example would be this, again, opinion:
Target application: Baseball - Swinging/Core
Tricep Rope Rotations (Basic Wood Chop with a different ending angle to resemble a baseball/softball swing. Stabilizer support exercise would be focused on the wrist and forearms on this one.
Extended Stiff Arm Cable Rotations - Self explanatory
Extended Arm Cable Shuffle - slight bent knees
One Knee Isometric Core Hold
This workout could be applied to other applications but its specific audience is baseball/softball/tennis. Each Target area or functional specific area could have multiple areas. Baseball could be; Swinging (Core/Upper), Speed (Legs/Cardio), Throwing (Full Body) etc…
I hope this is a good suggestion or something I could provide a further explanation too. I don’t like wasting people’s’ time with bland ideas.
