Bar weight adjustments memorized for each exercise
I searched through the database but I couldn’t find any similar topic. If there’s already one I ask for apologies in advance.
Here’s my request:
The bar weight is adjustable but the weight remains the same in the next session unless it’s manually modified. It’s not a big problem, even though when I don’t pay attention to it, I forget to double check and only following the plates calculation I’m doing the warm up with the wrong weight.
Typical situation that sometimes occurs to me (I’m expressing myself using kgs)
Last exercise of push day: lying triceps extension with ez bar 7,5 kg
First exercise of next session (pull day) barbell row with usual bar at 20 kgs. Usually for the first set I can see by myself plates to use, because its light. On the second set of warm up the app tells you how many plates to add not showing the bar’s weight. I add plates and performing the exercise I’m feeling that the warm up weight is a little bit hard for me. Then I check the app and discover that the bar weight is 7,5 instead of 20.
To avoid this, two are the solutions:
1) (the best one) bar weight is memorized for each exercise (I always perform barbell curl with ez bar, for instance)
2) show in the first screen with timer, not only the plates to add, but also the bar’s weight.
