Improved Visual Feedback for "Save Set" and Profile Selection Buttons
The issue:
When I press the “Save Set” button during a workout, there’s only a subtle cue that anything happened—mainly that the app moves to the next set, assuming you remember exactly which set you were on. Often after a lift, my hands are a bit shaky, and it’s hard to tell if I actually tapped the button or just touched the screen. Sometimes the screen scrolls slightly instead of registering the button press, leaving me unsure if the set was saved or not.
What I’m suggesting:
There should be a more distinct visual confirmation when tapping “Save.” A change in button appearance—like dimming, a flash, or a brief lock/freeze of the screen—would help confirm that the action was registered. Even a split-second visual “pressed” state would give useful feedback.
Additional feedback:
The same applies to the gym/home/other profile selection pop-up at the start of a workout. Right now, when I tap one of those options, the screen transitions quickly, but there’s no clear feedback showing what profile was actually registered before it disappears. A brief highlight or animation when selecting the location would help prevent uncertainty or mis-taps.
