More (or fewer) warm-up sets for certain exercises
One observation I'd like to make is maybe making an option to have more warm-up sets for certain exercises? I'm squatting later today and some of the jumps between warm-up sets seem quite large?
Answer
How about we are given the chance to choose how many warm up sets we want?
For instance, when I'm doing squats where my working set is set at 100 kg, I would like to warm up with 40, 60, 80 kg. While my biceps curls could be at 30 kg, and I would feel comfortable only doing one warm-up set of 15-20 kg, especially since the isolation movements come at the end of the workout.
Is there any possibility to include a choice between how many warm-up sets we could have. Maybe to choose once per exercise would be sufficient?
Also, is there a way to skip a warm-up set - eg as I progress through a workout, I often have less need for both warm-up sets. To date, I’ve had to pretend I’ve done the warmup sets and then deleted them from the workout history log, but it would be a lot easier just to be able to have an option to skip a warm-up set as required.
Is there a way to skip the warm-up sets for an exercise And go straight to the work sets? For example if I’m doing bent over rows followed by arm curls I don’t really need to do warm-up sets for my arms since they are already warmed up from the rows. It would be useful do you have an option for each exercise to skip the warm-up sets. Thanks!!

I pick a few exercises per muscle group each day and I noticed that after each exercise I have to do 'warm up set's for each exercise before I reach the 'working sets'. Is there anyway to get rid of warm up sets for particular exercises to make the workout more efficient?

Tap "..." next to an exercise and "use custom warm-ups" to set your warm-ups sets from 0 to as many as you want. In the next release, you'll also be able to set a global setting (for all exercise).
If you're on Android, you can update now. If you're on iPhone, you'll have to wait 2-3 days for Apple to approve it. To update:
- Open the store app on your phone
- Search for Dr. Muscle
- Tap update
