Cardio guidance base on personal goals

Michael Tijerina 6 years ago updated by Carl Juneau, PhD 5 years ago 3

I would like to see cardio guidance base on personal goals, BF%, etc. With the exception of TrainingPeaks, which does not have a good intra-workout tracking system, I have not seen apps do this well.

To add a short HIIT session to your workouts, you can now simply toggle on “Cardio” in Settings. To add cardio to a single workout, add it as you would any other exercise (search for “HIIT Cardio”). Want more options? Let us know in the comments.

This is version 1225. If you're on Android, you can update now. If you're on iPhone, you'll have to wait 2-3 days for Apple to approve it. To update:

- Open the store app on your phone
- Search for Dr. Muscle
- Tap update

Now would be a great time to suggest and vote for our next feature. If you'd like to do that, please visit: https://muscle.userecho.com/communities/1-submit-your-feedback/topics#.

Really appreciate your support and advice. Thanks!

Women love some kickass HIIT. Especially those that get bored easily. Lol. Maybe adding those could be fun. Coz even though I opted the FULL BODY on Dr.Muscle, after the session, I still feel like I can do more. But after SWEAT & Alexia’s, I am like spent and crying “Enough”.

🤣

Maybe adding some HIIT or cardio moves that can get the heart racing would make it feel complete. If Dr.Muscle can make us sweat and increase our heart rate, its a good sign!

honestly, I’m very happy with the app, easy to use, clearly structured, what I miss is where to add cardio and if overtraining occurs. Most people they are either lazy, that is reflected in terms of lowering the weight they can lift, but you have also the eager once wich would prefer to go to the studio everyday. Here you could maybe help…..than you definitely would get a 12/10 rating
