When I swap only show exercises that are a good replacement for that specific exercise

When I swap might be convenient if the app only showed me exercises that are a good replacement for that specific exercise

Thanks for voting for this feature -- it's done! You'll find suggested exercises for the same body part the next time you swap an exercise during a workout (see image for a chest exercise).

If you're on Android, you can update now. If you're on iPhone, you'll have to wait 2-3 days for Apple to approve it. To update:

- Open the store app on your phone
- Search for Dr. Muscle
- Tap update

Now would be a great time to suggest and vote for our next feature. If you'd like to do that, please visit: https://muscle.userecho.com/communities/1-submit-your-feedback/topics#.

Really appreciate your support and advice. Thanks!

PS. With our next update (in about 2 weeks), you'll also be able to see exercises grouped by body part everywhere in the app.

It's would need of earch exercise to be related to muscles with an indicator of effeciency.

Yes I agree with Ronald, by swapping it should only show replacements for the specific exercise you are wanting to swap.  This will save time between exercises

I suppose if every exercise included a tag (bodypart) then when you swap for Lat Pulldown (tag of back) it could show any other exercise tagged as back by default.  Makes sense.  Would save a bit of time when the bench press is occupied and I still want to do a chest exercise.

I would say it's need both tag and effeciency, if effeciency is missing, somes user will have troubles choosing the correct exercice.

If you have a bench press, it's not only making effect on chest, other muscle are affected at different effeciency...

One thing I think would be great would be to recommend appropriate swaps up front with the option to choose from the whole list. Following on that I would also maybe track recent swaps when you choose the option so you could be consistent more easily.
