Update recommended weight and reps when if I change increments while I execute an exercise

Jonathan Austin 5 years ago updated by Carl Juneau, PhD 5 years ago 2

After I open an exercise and get to the screen where I save my sets, if I go and change increments, I have to exit the app to have increments reflected in the exercise execution. Have a look: https://photos.app.goo.gl/FTXEwuYA3dKnBYu79

Thanks for voting for this feature -- it's done! Now, after you edit the increments, when you return to that exercise, you'll see a popup that lets you reload the app's recommendation for that exercise.

If you're on Android, you can update now. If you're on iPhone, you'll have to wait 2-3 days for Apple to approve it. To update:

- Open the store app on your phone
- Search for Dr. Muscle
- Tap update

Now would be a great time to suggest and vote for our next feature. If you'd like to do that, please visit: https://muscle.userecho.com/communities/1-submit-your-feedback/topics#.

Really appreciate your support and advice. Thanks!

Under review

Hi Jon. The way to make this work is to update your increments before you actually begin doing the exercise. But I'll keep this issue open here in case other users struggle with it. We implement topics with the most votes first, so if this gets lots of votes, we'll review how that works inside the app.
