Delete / rearrange / add exercices from workouts on the fly

Yohann 6 years ago updated by Carl Juneau, PhD 5 years ago 5

It should be possible to edit Dr.Muscle workouts by deleting exercises we don't want to do and reaarange them in the order we prefer (instead of having to recreate them as custom workouts).

Next time you work out, you'll see a big white + button below your exercises. Tap it to add any number of exercises to your current workout. In our next update, this button will also let you reorder your workouts, and more.

If you're on Android, you can update now. If you're on iPhone, you'll have to wait 2-3 days for Apple to approve it. To update:

- Open the store app on your phone
- Search for Dr. Muscle
- Tap update

Now would be a great time to suggest and vote for our next feature. If you'd like to do that, please visit: https://muscle.userecho.com/communities/1-submit-your-feedback/topics#.

Really appreciate your support and advice. Thanks!

Thank you for that suggestion Yohann.

For now, another option you have is the swap feature: http://drmuscleapp.com/news/swap/. You also don't have to do the exercises in the order they're listed, if you don't want to.

We implement suggestions with the most votes first, so the more people vote for this one, the faster we'll implement it. Thx!

Would love to add an exercise to a routine. Eg, using the home gym workout plan but I'd like to add in some lat pulldowns to upper body 2B. I can only swap exercises, but would like to add extra exercises in.

exactly! I submitted a top level idea. This is precisely what I wanted to do yesterday.

Would be awesome to be able to add exercises to current workout without having to go add it manually in exercises then editing workout to add that new exercise :)
