The loading and transition speeds were not an issue up until recently, so is it going to be a waste of time to think about what might have cause this problem to begin with, so as to address its root cause?. I'm not a techie but maybe by addressing an unknown major issue everything else could fall into place.

I must agree with this posting. During the past few weeks I experienced a significant loading speed delay of a minute or so in between exercises. Since my time is very limited when I workout, this delay adds up very quickly. I attributed to the number of people tapping into the same server at the same time during maybe a very popular time to exercise.

Agree with Peter. Smaller barbells are one point but some gym machines (leg press, calf raise, shoulder press, chest press, etc) need plates on both sides without a barbell. My suggestion is to have a sliding scale for the barbell and adjust the plates  accordingly. For machines, the barbell weight could be zero

This is a technical matter and I leave that decision to the experts (Carl) who, in turn, will use the best information based on science. I got this app to be my coach, if I start changing the settings then the app will become my timer.

That is a very pertinent point. The app does a good job at tracking your progress and challenges you at improving your previous marks but does not take into consideration the anthropometry of the user. The example presented by Dr. Schwartz proves the need of adjusting the program based on the person's body measurements. If the app has the objective of becoming the personal trainer of the user then it should take into consideration the age, physique, measurements and objective of the user as well as provide a way of tracking those variables over time

I'm not 100% sure but I think it does. The next time you come back to the same exercise the app adjust the weight and reps, it's up to person who's doing the exercise to change the weight and reps. If I'm not correct please let me know

I faced a similar situation in my gym, the way I adjusted to this problem is to choose the higher next available weight and concentrate on the number of reps.

I agree with the black and white variations, more colors could be distracting

I thought about this before but I realized that I frequently change the weight or the number of reps and I record it in the app. I solved the inconvenience  by attaching the phone to a selfie tripod and keep the unit next to me at 2 to 3 feet above ground level. I found this solution very convenient and quick to handle any changes I want to make on the app.
