Linking to Apple Health would be great. Many workout apps do this. Please have Dr Muscle do this.

I'm adding my support to all of the above.

As an experienced user of the app, I now understand what all the buttons do and mean. But I agree with everything above. I LOVE the AI and the base purpose of the app. And I applaud Carl for putting it all together. I shouldn't be one to judge, because I could never do anything like this. -- But I think compared to the majority of other apps out there, many people don't give Dr Muscle a chance because it doesn't look like an expensive app. It looks like an old monotone DOS program. It's very smart, and very much for people who care more about an app's function that it's looks.

I was thinking about that too, but then I realized that the clock counts down from 25 seconds, not 30. So the "bell" is probably a warning if I really need 30 seconds. It takes me 3 seconds from the end of my set to hit the save button, then the 25 seconds starts, then at the bell I have 2 seconds to start my next set. (If I'm feeling energetic, I start the next set early.)

It would be VERY cool if the AI knew I was starting early so that it pushed me faster next time, or that it commented, "You're going faster than normal", "You're taking too long between sets, what's wrong with you?!?!"

I wished for this too. I bought 2.5 lb wrist weights so I could get to 52.5 lbs, and also so I could have those intermediate weights for everything else. At some point, lifting 52.5 lbs dumbbells 20 times isn't going to be the same as lifting 65 lb dumbbells 12 times. It's just a problem that can only be solved by using different equipment. (I tried the solution above [dropping the weight and increasing the reps], but the app doesn't like that too much.)

The first thing I would like is to be able to build workouts and programs.

The second thing would be to download all the data from my workouts.

Web access to the program would be great. I'm ready to resume creating my own workouts. I've been following the app's default program for months. It's great, but I'm ready to tailor it to my specific needs. If I could do it on a laptop, that would be easier than on my phone.

I like a note section so I can document the settings on the machine, so I can set them on the same settings next time.

One thing I loved about other apps is the bragging function of social media. At the completion of the workout, I could take a photo and overlay it with a summary of my workout or just the total weight lifted, or the improvement in my 1RM, and it would have the BB.com logo in the bottom. I'd then post it to social media. -- Sometimes I just need that recognition from my peers to keep going. If you look at my FB profile from a couple of years ago, I'm sure you can see examples of what I mean. -- I wish that the AI function of Dr Muscle were enough for me to keep long-term motivation, but sometimes we need a variety of shallower motives to keep with a program.
