Hello Carstens,

I'm guessing you referring to the HIIT cardio option.

To remove it from your workouts, just go to Settings (bottom bar) and toggle if off.

Any other questions, please email us at support@drmuscleapp.com.

Thank you,

Carl

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out, and I understand your frustration with this limitation.

Unfortunately, Dr. Muscle does not currently support logging exercises with dates in the past. The app is designed for you to log your workouts as you complete them in real-time.

With that said, you could open the app once daily for the next 12 days and log each session on consecutive days. This will capture your training history. Going forward, I'd recommend logging your sessions into Dr. Muscle that same day while the information is fresh.

We'll keep this request open in case others want to vote for it. If you have more questions about the workings of the app, please email us at support@drmuscleapp.com.

Thank you,

Carl

Hi there,

Thanks for reporting that issue. Please check your inbox for an email from us re your beta program and Android system versions.

This forum is for feature requests. If you run any other bugs, please email support@drmuscleapp.com.

Thank you.

Carl

Hi James,

Thanks for reporting that issue.

Cardio exercises such as cycling (including both cycle machines and biking to the gym) are automatically excluded from your 1RM progress and don’t impact the algorithm for your progression.

So there’s no need to worry—your cycling won’t interfere with your training stats in the app.

If you have any other questions or need assistance, please feel free to email us at support@drmuscleapp.com directly. We’ll be able to help you more efficiently that way.

Best,

Carl

Hi Chris!

Thanks for your suggestion. It's easy to skip or cancel rest times—just tap "Hide" at the bottom of the fullscreen timer.

You can also tap the timer icon (top-right) during any workout and toggle off "Fullscreen" for a cleaner, quicker setup between exercises.

If you have any other questions, feel free to email us at support@drmuscleapp.com.

Thanks for helping us improve 💪

Hi Oskar,

Thanks for reporting that issue. We test quite a bit on Android here (I'm on Android myself) and I have to say, we've never seen this issue before. It's also the first time it's being reported in almost 10 years of Dr. Muscle.

I'm going to leave this open in case other users face the same issue. In the meantime, please review the solutions below. For more help, email us at support@drmuscleapp.com. Dozens of users get an email notification when we post here, so I aim to keep those at a minimum.

Thanks so much for choosing Dr. Muscle,

Carl

Hi Grant,

Thanks for your suggestion. Good news! You can already do this in the app. Simply create a custom program with your workout days, and open it every 72 hours to start that day's workout. Workouts in the app are not tied to days of the week.

You can upload your custom program online in a CSV file at https://my.dr-muscle.com/ or create in the app via Settings and then Change program.

I'm going to mark this as complete for now.

Cheers,

Carl
