Hi Ismar,

Thanks for the update on this issue. I can see that the team has been replying over email, so I'm going to close this ticket. Again, if you notice more bugs, please send them at support@drmuscleapp.com. We do our best to keep this site for feature requests only.

Thank you so much for trusting us with your fitness,

Carl

Thanks for voting for this feature—it's live! From the announcement:

You can now track your body fat as well as body weight trend. In many ways, this is superior to tracking just scale weight, which can be misleading due to daily fluctuations. Learn more:

To access the brand new body weight progress page, just tap "Progress" in the bottom navigation bar. Expect more improvements soon, like tracking trends in body fat and fat-free mass, and better charts.

This release improves on our new AI Meal Planner feature, which creates meals that adjusts to your progress in the gym and on the scale—automatically. Learn more:

Thanks for your suggestion Patrick. This is coming soon. Marking as "planned". Cheers.

Thanks for your suggestion Michael. While we work on adding this one to the list, you can easily add any number of custom exercises to your account. Here's how:

  • Tap Exercise (bottom bar)
  • Tap Exercises
  • Tap the big plus button at the bottom right corner

And you'll be good to go!

Hi Jon,

Good news: the feature you requested is already available in the app. You can achieve a 50%-75% workout intensity by tapping "..." next to any exercise, and selecting "Swap". Then, choose the same exercise with a medium or easy variation. To return to your original workout, tap "Undo swap" or go to Edit workout (top left) and select Restore workout (top right).

This functionality allows for lower intensity sessions based on your recovery needs without impacting future workout calculations or adaptations. You can use for all or just some of your exercises, and choose easy or medium on a case by case basis depending on your needs.

I will mark this request as completed for now. If you need more help, please email us at support@drmuscleapp.com.

Thank you for your feedback!

Carl

Dear Nick,

Thanks for sharing your feedback regarding body weight measurement and the hints provided by the app. Your concerns about the app's analysis based solely on daily progress are valid, especially when weight fluctuations can occur regularly.

Good news: we're working on implementing weight trends as we speak. You should see them go live in 2-3 weeks. Right after that, we'll make sure all of the app's coaching is based on trends and not daily values. You can vote on this open suggestion to keep track of our progress:

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Best regards,

Carl

Hi Alex,

Good news! You can already set up custom increments at the exercise level.

Just tap "..." next to any exercise in your workout, and then tap "Exercise settings". Toggle on Use custom increments, and you'll be good to go!

You could also entered detailed dumbbells and plate equipment, and use the more general increment setting for other machines and pulley (if they match). That would be under Settings > Change equipment.

I'm going to mark this as completed for now. Need more help? Email us anytime at support@drmuscleapp.com. We're here for you.

All the best,

Carl

Implemented some time ago, but not updated here. The app now asks you which gym profile you want to load when you tap Start workout. Marking this as completed.

This was done some time ago, but not updated. Marking completed.
