Hi Nick,

Thanks for chiming in, on this and other suggestions.

We certainly do our best to order the exercises for best results for most people according to the evidence and best practices. But some people value variety above results, and think it's more fun.

So Brett, I appreciate your suggestion here.

In the end, we implement suggestions with the most votes first, so we'll keep an eye on this one to see how it goes.

Thanks guy for your support, truly appreciate it.

Best,

Carl

Thanks for this other suggestion David. I've made it standalone so everyone can vote on it: https://muscle.userecho.com/communities/1/topics/644-undo-set.

Returning to the original suggestion, I can see my previous response is 3 years old. Since then, we've made that flow easier by letting you add a set even after your exercise is finished. Just tap it to reopen, and tap Add set.

To your point about undoing a saved set, you can always tap the X icon left of it to delete it, and tap Add set to add another to replace it. I understand that's not exactly what you have in mind, so I look forward to seeing this suggestion get more votes so it moves higher on our roadmap.

Thanks so much for your support,

Carl

Hi Ovi,

Thank you for your suggestion.

We understand that different machines have varying displays and metrics, which can sometimes create confusion.

Yes, we could incorporate additional criteria for measuring effort beyond just speed and time. For instance, distance can also be a valuable metric to track during rowing sessions. It's been voted on already at: Adding Detailed Cardio.

To clarify your question about speed: it can refer to different units depending on your machine. If your rowing machine displays speed in kilometers per hour (km/h), you can use that measurement directly. If it uses a preset gear system, you can input the corresponding speed value as best suited to your workout.

Thanks again for your feedback. I look forward to seeing this get more votes.

Happy to confirm that dumbbells and plates have been tied to equipment profiles for some time now. Marking this as completed. To vote for our next feature, please visit https://muscle.userecho.com/. Thanks!

Thanks for voting for this suggestion: it's live!

You can now adjust your bar weight all the way down to 0 in the plate calculator, allowing you to work with bars of any weight.

Pumped? Now would be a good time to vote for our next features at https://muscle.userecho.com/.

Thanks again for your support,

Hi guys,

You are correct: we have hundreds of exercises in the app, and they don't all have videos because that would make the app quite a hefty download. You can, however, tap "..." and "Video instructions" next to all exercises to learn more.

I can see this is getting more and more votes. We'll be happy to look into ways to fit more videos into the app (perhaps at a smaller size) when this becomes the top-requested feature.

Thanks for your feedback!

Carl

Hi again Seppe,

Nick is correct -- in this case, you could simply customize your increments for that exercise under Exercise settings (tap "..." next to the exercise to access).

In many cases, the app dynamically adjusts your weights during your sets, so I'm not sure that letting you change them before you start would turn into a smooth experience. Better try customizing your increments instead. If you have more questions, please email us at support@drmuscleapp.com.

I'm going to leave this open in case more people want to vote for it.

All the best,

Carl

Hey Seppe,

To add warm-up sets, just tap "..." next to any exercise and Exercise settings. Then toggle on Use custom warm-ups, and you'll be good to go!

You can also choose to have more warm-up sets for all your exercises in your global settings (bottom bar).

As a reminder, dozens of people get an email every time you make a suggestion here. So if you have any questions about the app, please drop us a note at support@drmuscleapp.com instead.

I'm going to mark this as completed for now.

Thank you,

Carl
