Integrate with MyFitnessPal for nutrition (to review macros/caloric intakes and diets for subscribers)
Hello,
I would like to see a possible integration with MyFitnessPal, to allow a dietitian or nutritionist the ability to review macros/caloric intakes and diets for subscribers (perhaps every two months or more with a single use fee), also for those that the app flags as not making progress.
If a dietitian or nutritionist would be too expensive on your end, then since Dr.Muscle is a "AI" or Machine Learning App, you could make it to where your algorithm pulls data from the MyFitnessPal integration and compares macros/nutrient/calorie intake with gains/progress logged within the Dr.Muscle App. Then the algorithm could make suggestions such as adjusting macros and calories to match progress or the lack of progress.
I love the AI/Algorithm approach, upfront cost for you guys obviously, but then its just maintenance, but it would also be nice if users could buy a nutrition review and a dietitian or nutritionist who is experienced with body building/fitness could review the data that Dr. Muscle gathers from MyFitnessPal.
Just food for thought.
Thank you so much,
Jacob Jones

Allow user to "FAVORITE" an exercise
I am doing 2 extra exercises at the end of each workout. It is a time waster to have to find the correct name of the 2 exercises and type in the search box the name every day. This is very easily improved by the below method:
Allow user to "FAVORITE" an exercise (and "UN-FAVORITE" it later), which then shows as a first tab ("Favorites") before the body parts. This way the list can be maintained by user, who can add and remove exercises from this list as needed. I like this option the best as it is customizable.

Thanks for voting for this feature -- it's done! You can now “Favorite” an exercise to see it at the top of your exercise list. To mark an exercise as a favorite, tap More next to it, Settings, and toggle on Favorite. You can toggle Favorite off the same way.
If you're in the beta:
On Android, you can already download the update. On iPhone? You'll have to wait 2-3 days for Apple to approve it. To update:

Unilateral exercise options
For exercises such as the Dumbell Row, the reps need to be done twice, one for each arm. Currently the app does the weights, reps, and rest times once. That takes care of one arm … there is no way to repeat for the other arm. If the set could be repeated a second time for the other arm it would be great. Currently, I do reps for one arm, then don't save the set until after I do the same reps for the other arm …. but if the "rest time" is 19 seconds and it takes 60 seconds to do the exercise reps the "rest periods" are not accurate. Seems to defeat the purpose of the variable recovery periods for each set. Should be able to repeat the set for the other arm.

Thanks for voting for this feature -- it's done! The app will now guide you through both sides of unilateral exercises when you do your sets. You can now also created (and edit) custom exercise to mark them as unilateral.
If you're on Android, you can update now. If you're on iPhone, you'll have to wait 2-3 days for Apple to approve it. To update:

I am a 70 year old male. 5’4” and 120 lbs. Not all muscle. When I see 65 lbs for a lat row, I se more than half my body weight. There should be some way to input weight and size.

Thanks for voting for this feature! It's done. You can now input your weight and height when you create your account. You can also update your body weight to get diet coaching, progression tips, and more.

Detailed weight increments
Dear Dr. Muscle Team,
I really like the new weight increments feature you just added to your app. Unfortunately I'm a user of a PowerBlock dumbbell system, whose weight increment steps are not constant.
So, I would like to be able to manually enter the weights my system supports or - even better - just select my equipment from a list of preconfigured products.
I'm using the German version of PowerBlock U70. Please check the attached photo for the weights it supports.
Many thanks!
Sebastian

Thanks for voting for this feature -- it's in beta! From the announcement:
Excited to announce TWO of our top requested features. With this beta update, you’ll be able to hear yours truly say how many reps you have to do when your rest timer ends (e.g. “5 reps” instead of the usual “ding”). Toggle this on by tapping the timer icon top-right during any workout. Also, you can now customize your equipment in full for plates, dumbbells, and pulleys. This gives you full control over your increments, min, and max weights for exercises using those implements. Big thanks to all who voted for these features!

Monthly view of workouts logged
Could we get a monthly calendar view or completed workouts? Its nice to look back and see when I worked out last , how many days per week and what the rest days versus workout day pattern has been. The image below is from Polar.com

Thanks for voting for this feature—it's live! You can now see your workout calendar on your home page. To see it, just scroll down.

Add support for time-based exercises
For the Plank, I am using my own body weight and i held it for 1 min. there was no way to account for this. that might be something worth looking into.

Thanks for voting for this feature -- it's done! You can now create time-based custom exercises (and edit your existing custom exercises). Your time-based exercises will progress by adding seconds instead of weight or reps.

Skip a Workout
Bummer.. I'm injured. But the app is saying I should be doing a lower body workout.
If I just click Finish and Save, it almost appears like it will move me to the next level if I keep doing that.
Do I just select an Upper Body workout?
I wish there was a Skip this Session so that it will not save any data but allow me to move to the next iteration.
Maybe that's how it works now?

Thanks for voting for this feature! It's done.
To skip a workout, simply Start a workout, scroll down, and tap Skip workout. Voilà!

Cardio guidance base on personal goals
I would like to see cardio guidance base on personal goals, BF%, etc. With the exception of TrainingPeaks, which does not have a good intra-workout tracking system, I have not seen apps do this well.

Thanks for voting for this feature -- it's done!
To add a short HIIT session to your workouts, you can now simply toggle on “Cardio” in Settings. To add cardio to a single workout, add it as you would any other exercise (search for “HIIT Cardio”). Want more options? Let us know in the comments.

Import data from other apps
Strong and Fitocracy, for example, also allow one to export data – what a cool feature it would be if you could just import data from your last work-out app, and it would be all set up? It’s also a great selling feature: “Don’t lose all your hard work. Just import the data and go to the gym. An optimized workout will be ready for you based on your records.”
