
Sync with the health app on my iPhone X
I would like to sync this app with the health app on my iPhone X please. Is there way to do this now or will there be a way to sync in the future updates? I have used other apps and it syncs automatically.

Per side or combined amounts flag for exercise weight
It would be very helpful to have a flag that indicates per exercise if the weight listed is per individual weight (e.g. dumb bell) or combined (barbell). Certain exercises right now need to he 2x or halved since it is ambiguous from the description of exercises and users can create their own exercises. This would be helpful for data quality and normalization purposes cross users as well since there is no way to tell now.

Bob, you're absolutely right. This topic is one year old and we've since updated the app to show "If you're using dumbbells, enter the weight for one hand" and walk users through unilateral exercises with popups for "Side 1" and "Side 2". So, I'm marking this as completed.
Joel, I wouldn't advise you do the unilateral exercises that way, for reasons Bob explained (thx Bob!). But if you still want to do it, you can create custom exercises that are not unilateral and swap them in. Simply replace the ones the app uses by yours, and you'll be good to go.

More volume at lighter loads for isolation exercises
I do wander about the approach to some of the isolation movements and in particular things like lateral raises where I feel that more volume at lighter loads is almost certainly better, yet the the algorithm can be quite aggressive in pushing the numbers up. It seems all of the lifts are following roughly the same model, though obviously not everything can progress as much as compounds and certain movements definitely benefit from more volume.
I'm usually supplementing separate work for these groups. So I wonder if in the future some attention might be paid to favoring more volume on things like calves that can use it.
At the end of the day, your app is great and it's honestly the foundation my training, though I do supplement around it with things I'd like to target a bit more or can handle greater frequency (arms). It's pushed a ton of my compounds up and I specifically credit things like ridiculously high rep deadlifts and squats for greatly increasing my conditioning and growing my 1RMs by a huge amount.
I also love and evangelize rest-pause training now. Anyway, keep up the good work and have a nice day!

You can now customize isolation exercises for more volume at lighter loads. To do so:
- Tap "..." next to an isolation exercise
- Tap "more"
- Toggle on "Use custom reps"
- Set reps to any high range, e.g. 15-25
If you're on Android, you can update now. If you're on iPhone, you'll have to wait 2-3 days for Apple to approve it. To update:
- Open the store app on your phone
- Search for Dr. Muscle
- Tap update

Tell the app what equipment you have available
Is there a way to tell the app what equipment you have available? I work out at home but i have a cable attachment and landmine attachment on my rack.

Change the increase in weight from 1kg steps to 0,5kg steps
Is there any chance to change the increase in weight from 1kg steps to 0,5kg steps?

Charts with long-term progress
A chart or table that shows progress for more than 3 sessions (example on 1-2 months)

Charts are out in beta! You can now see your progress for any or all exercises, over the timeframe you want (from 3 workouts to all time).

On the screenshot I'm attaching, you can see my progression for the shoulder press for all time. You'll notice 3 peaks and 2 valleys. The valleys are deloads. As you can see, each deload leads to a bigger peak, and a bigger 1RM.
That's exactly why you should deload when you stop making progress. Deloads wipe away fatigue and let you progress again. Good news is, the app takes care of that for you, and makes you deload exactly when you need it, so you can break your plateaus, get stronger, and build more muscle.
Beta users on Android have access to charts right now, and those on iOs will have access tomorrow (hopefully) after Apple reviews the update. The update should be live for all users next week.

Smart reminder notifications to train on workout days
I'd like the app to remind me when to train. On the best day. Maybe like this:
"Hey Marc you're supposed to work out today!"
[Workout Now]
[Remind me in 2 hours]
[Remind me tomorrow]
Other workout apps do it (like 100 push-up type of apps).

Message at start of workout to say if full effort or not
I think a brief message at the start to estate that you’re expecting the workout to be full effort or a little bit easier so that the participant doesn’t over train. Perhaps a colour code system. Blue - do as you’re instructed. Red - go all out.

Adjust workout time before starting a workout
Another app's feature that allowed me to adjust my workout time just before starting my workout was very useful. The option was right at the top, just one click and I could alter that days' training time to accommodate my available time. This feature was particularly useful on days when I was not feeling up to a full workout or when I was under a time constraint. With Dr. Muscle, this feature may exist but I haven't come across it yet. I do see I can make the training period change within the settings/program but I don't know if that is a 'global setting' or a 'next workout setting.' For this feature, I only want to change the next workout. Again, Dr. Muscle may have this feature front and center but I'm not seeing it; it's not intuitive.
