Adjust workouts based on sleep the previous night, motivation, etc.

John T 1 year ago 0

I think further integration with other data I have on my phone from other health apps would be great: heart rate variability, sleep the previous night, etc. would be useful. So, when I go to workout, perhaps the app says, you got only 6 hours of sleep, then asks me how much motivation I have to work out, and then, based on my responses, suggests a tailored workout, etc.

Custom cardio option

Wayne 2 years ago 0

I know this has been brought up previously and believe it needs to be offered as both part of a workout (add exercise) but also as a separate event outside of a weight workout. Long term, integration with strata, peloton, concept 2 etc. Would be great!

Syncing Meal Plan to App

Nygel 2 years ago 0

Hi, it would be great if the meal plan synced into the app so the recipes, meals, and ingredients were there and it automatically updated each week and each day you can mark what you've eaten and the macro count updated. Would also be great if you could directly replace ingredients and it updated macros (i.e. meal calls for 6oz chicken breast but you substitute for 6oz salmon and the protein, calories, fat content would update).

Display notes on exercise screen

Jim B 2 years ago updated by Thomas K 21 hours ago 1

When a note has been added to an exercise it would be great to have the first line or so of that note displayed on the exercise set screen, there is space. Right under the name of exercise show the first several words of the note. Otherwise you have to open settings for each exercise to see if you have a note. And if possible make it so you can tap those words it opens your full note.

For exercises, have a short description with attention points

Roy DC 2 years ago updated by James 3 weeks ago 4

Would be good to have a short description with attention points for the exercise.

Some of these are new to me and now after the 3rd training I notice...

Plate calculator for isolatetal machines

Bruce Wayne 3 years ago updated by Legna 7 months ago 2

I think we should have plate calculators for isolateral machines because the one for a bar doesn't work because it bilateral and every machine has different starting resistance. It will be helpful and save time.

Cardio workouts to show in minutes/seconds

Joseph P 3 years ago updated by Carl Juneau, PhD 1 year ago 4

When logging cardio exercises it asks for seconds only making it difficult to constantly do the math. Could this be changed to be two parts? Enter minutes and seconds and the ability to add by text or use a scroll function.

Ability to create an easy exercise from an existing one in Dr Muscle exercises database

André Ferreira 4 years ago updated by Seppe Hoobergs 4 years ago 1

create a easy exercise copy of an existing one to add to your custom workout routine.

I can create one but the app doesn’t link it to the existing (normal) version só It! Can relate the weights as the app is already doing with with the already existing easy exercise versions.

Static Stretching

Greg Cullum 4 years ago updated by Bastien FP 1 month ago 3

I would like to suggest adding a static stretching component to the end of each workout that walks users through the best static stretches based on the workout they just completed.  While I believe in mobility exercises prior to working out, I think an automated series of static stretching exercises AFTER the workout (optional of course) would be beneficial in limiting DOMS as well as stretching muscle fascia to assist in muscle growth.

i know I am frequently guilty of ending my workout and moving on with my day without stretching appropriately and I firmly believe adding stretches to the end of each workout automatically would be a great way to make sure they don’t get overlooked.
