Hi Artin! Thanks for reporting that issue. Turns out our database became full around 3 am today. This caused the issue you were seeing. But it's fixed now (I'm copying the full recap below). If you notice issues again, could you please email us at support@drmuscleapp.com? This forum is for feature requests, and when you post here, every contributor gets an email notification. Thanks again for your sharp feedback.

To recap: around 3 am today, our database became full. This prevented new exercise and workout progress to be saved. To be clear, Patrick, Henning, Jesse, Derek, and Seppe, this means your progress today was probably not saved. The easiest way to work around that is the following. If you're still seeing the workout you did (but that was not saved) on your home page, open it. Next, save it without redoing any exercises. Because of this, the next time you do that workout, it may feel a bit easier. But the app will notice and adjust in 1 workout. Overall, your long-term progress will not be affected. Also, your history and past workouts were not affected.

We found out about the issue at 10:42 am and fixed it by 11 am. Still, I believe we should have found out earlier. I take full responsibility. Losing today's workout like that is a bad experience. I apologise for that. We've taken steps to prevent issues like that in the future. This is the first time it's happened, and it should not happen again. My bad guys.

Hi guys! We released this one some time ago, but it looks like I missed updating the feature request. To set workout reminders, do this:

Tap More (bottom bar)

Tap Settings

Scroll down

Thanks for voting for this feature and for your feedback guys -- it's in beta! From the announcement:

Fexibility & mobility training is here! It’s our #1 most requested features, so I’m pumped to bring it to you today! As a lifter looking to gain muscle and strength, you need to be aware that stretching can make you weaker (when done wrong, with static stretching for example). You can learn more in our new Bodybuilding Stretching Guide at https://dr-muscle.com/bodybuilding-flexibility/.

In short, in my 20 years’ experience lifting and coaching, I’ve found the best stretching routines for lifters usually include dynamic stretching and mobility exercises. So, we’re releasing 3 fexibility & mobility programs this week. They include 9 dynamic exercises, from beginner to advanced. You’ll find the programs under Exercise > Workouts > Dr. Muscle > Bodyweight. Pick your level, start small, and focus on increasing your range of motion every workout—slowly and gradually.

If you're in the beta:

On Android, you can already download the update. On iPhone? You'll have to wait 2-3 days for Apple to approve it. To update:

- Open the store app on your phone
- Search for Dr. Muscle
- Tap update

Not in the beta? Write back if you'd like to get in. Otherwise, you'll see a notification to update inside the app in 7-10 days when the public version comes out.

Now would be a great time to suggest and vote for our next feature. If you'd like to do that, please visit: https://muscle.userecho.com/communities/1-submit-your-feedback/topics#.

Really appreciate your support and advice. Thanks!

We're implementing flexibility and mobility routines this week! And I'd love to get your advice. Would you like to be able to automatically cue a mobility routine before your workouts? Otherwise, how do you see yourself using it? Any special request(s)? Now's the time! If you're getting this by email, click here to leave your comment: https://muscle.userecho.com/en/communities/1/topics/258-add-basic-flexibilty-mobility-program

Want to see your history for an exercise as you do it? Now you can! This is one of our top requested features, so I’m happy to bring it to you today. In the past, the app would show you how many reps and weight you lifted the last time you did your first work set. Now it shows you that information for all your sets! Thanks to André for suggesting that feature, and to all those who voted for it.

Hi Peter. In that case, the app already recommends a challenge. Please email support@drmuscleapp.com if you're not getting those, that would be a bug. But if you are getting them and you had something else in mind, please let me know here.

Hi Seppe! It's easy to manually type reps/weights/seconds. Just tap the number and the keyboard will pop up, letting you type in your values. If that doesn't work for you, please let us know what you had in mind. I'm going to mark this one as completed for now.

Jay,

Joseph,

I'm truly sorry about the issue. But good news: we already have a fix in beta. To join the beta, email us at support@drmuscleapp.com. Otherwise, the update should be out in 4-5 days. Again, apologies for the bad experience. We've updated our internal testing process to prevent future issues like that with music players in the future.

Thanks so much for your support and patience,

Carl

Hi Kevin!

The way we handle that inside Dr. Muscle is using different exercises. So if you search for "chin-up", you'll find:

Chin-up

Weighted chin-up

You can also create other custom exercises for your needs (just tap the big + button). In my account, I have:

Chin-up (green band)

Chin-up (red band)

Does that work? If not, let us know how you'd like this to work, so people can vote for your suggestion. We implement suggestions with the most votes first, and only customers such as yourself get to vote. Thx!

Thank you for your suggestion Andrew. We already have two similar feature requests -- I suggest you vote for those so it gets built faster:

https://muscle.userecho.com/en/communities/1/topics/282-eve-sync-weight-with-apple-health-or-myfitnesspal

https://muscle.userecho.com/en/communities/1/topics/105-send-total-workout-time-and-volume-to-myfitnesspal-or-apple-health

I'm marking this one as declined to avoid duplicates. But rest assured: we do look forward to building that feature!

Cheers,

Carl
