You asked. We listened. With this update, we introduce the “Lower back, glutes & hamstrings” body part. These muscles often work together. So much so, they’re often called the “posterior chain”. So, it made sense to group them as one. This group now includes exercises we previously listed as “back” or “legs”. Like the deadlift and its variations. Splitting up body parts is one of our top requested feature, so if there are other body parts you’d like to see in Dr. Muscle, now’s the time to speak up. Let us know on our feedback site at https://muscle.userecho.com/en/communities/1/topics/284-muscle-groups-should-be-divided-even-more. Thanks!

Hi Artin! Thanks for reporting that issue. Turns out our database became full around 3 am today. This caused the issue you were seeing. But it's fixed now (I'm copying the full recap below). If you notice issues again, could you please email us at support@drmuscleapp.com? This forum is for feature requests, and when you post here, every contributor gets an email notification. Thanks again for your sharp feedback.

To recap: around 3 am today, our database became full. This prevented new exercise and workout progress to be saved. To be clear, Patrick, Henning, Jesse, Derek, and Seppe, this means your progress today was probably not saved. The easiest way to work around that is the following. If you're still seeing the workout you did (but that was not saved) on your home page, open it. Next, save it without redoing any exercises. Because of this, the next time you do that workout, it may feel a bit easier. But the app will notice and adjust in 1 workout. Overall, your long-term progress will not be affected. Also, your history and past workouts were not affected.
We found out about the issue at 10:42 am and fixed it by 11 am. Still, I believe we should have found out earlier. I take full responsibility. Losing today's workout like that is a bad experience. I apologise for that. We've taken steps to prevent issues like that in the future. This is the first time it's happened, and it should not happen again. My bad guys.
Hi guys! We released this one some time ago, but it looks like I missed updating the feature request. To set workout reminders, do this:

Fexibility & mobility training is here! It’s our #1 most requested features, so I’m pumped to bring it to you today! As a lifter looking to gain muscle and strength, you need to be aware that stretching can make you weaker (when done wrong, with static stretching for example). You can learn more in our new Bodybuilding Stretching Guide at https://dr-muscle.com/bodybuilding-flexibility/.
In short, in my 20 years’ experience lifting and coaching, I’ve found the best stretching routines for lifters usually include dynamic stretching and mobility exercises. So, we’re releasing 3 fexibility & mobility programs this week. They include 9 dynamic exercises, from beginner to advanced. You’ll find the programs under Exercise > Workouts > Dr. Muscle > Bodyweight. Pick your level, start small, and focus on increasing your range of motion every workout—slowly and gradually.

Want to see your history for an exercise as you do it? Now you can! This is one of our top requested features, so I’m happy to bring it to you today. In the past, the app would show you how many reps and weight you lifted the last time you did your first work set. Now it shows you that information for all your sets! Thanks to André for suggesting that feature, and to all those who voted for it.

Hi Peter. In that case, the app already recommends a challenge. Please email support@drmuscleapp.com if you're not getting those, that would be a bug. But if you are getting them and you had something else in mind, please let me know here.
Hi Seppe! It's easy to manually type reps/weights/seconds. Just tap the number and the keyboard will pop up, letting you type in your values. If that doesn't work for you, please let us know what you had in mind. I'm going to mark this one as completed for now.

Now would be a great time to suggest and vote for our next feature. We looked into MyFitnessPal, and sadly, it cannot be done on our code platform (Xamarin). You guys also requested Google Fit, Fitbit, and Garmin. If you still want that, please vote for it again now with another comment here. Or if you'd rather to vote for another feature, please visit: https://muscle.userecho.com/communities/1-submit-your-feedback/topics#.
